Kauai, Hawaii and Planning the Trip

Here we go again! The plan is to see the USA this time. Roughly the SouthWest, visit family and friends in Texas, see the deep South to the Florida Keys and travel up the Eastern Seaboard looking in on Civil War Battlefields, Antebellum Plantations and the like along the way. We would like to spend time in Washington DC, visit family and come back home via KC Missouri and Minnesota. Rather ambitious project for two old duffers but we've got time.

 Seems we like to start our long trips with a trip to Hawaii just to get in the travel mode I guess. This time we went with Tim and Pam; February 8th through the 21st. We spent 12 days in Kaua'i and 2 days in Honolulu. We had a lot of rain but managed to have a great time any way. Tim and Bosco went Scuba Diving several times and the four of us went Zip-Lining and snorkeling and rode bikes.
