June 18, 2014 We make our reservations based on Good Sam RV Travel Guide, internet searches, flyers we pick up, and web pages but we never know what we are going to get until we get there. We found a jewel this time. Silver Palms is beautiful to look at, has an accommodating staff, and is fully equipped. Their sites are for sale to permanent residents; and many are sold to Snowbirds who are looking for a winter nest. We have the park mostly to ourselves; beautiful facilities club house, swimming pool, hot tub, laundry, and the list goes on. Even their own brand of wildlife; these beautiful Sandhill Cranes and rabbits everywhere. The Rabbits interest Holly greatly.
We went to the hot tub at sunset yesterday and had a dip in the pool very refreshing. The only thing we can't bring with us is our hot tub and we miss it
sorely. Most hot tubs you find are not really hot, and way too much chlorine to make it enjoyable. This one was just right!
As of today we've put 8,308 miles on the truck!
