April 11th we left Mike and MaryAnne and ventured south to Shoshone, CA to see the rest of Death Valley and rest a bit. Stayed at the Shoshone RV Park; we picked a shady spot and called it home.

Ron and Nancy came the 12th and we set off to tour the rest of Death Valley. We drove to Dantes View, spectacular view of the desert floor, salt flats, & Telescope Peak across the valley at 11,049 feet, you can even see snow! Then we made for Furnace Creek, Ron got to see the golf course there and he treated us to lunch at the club house.Drove the Artist loop through Artist Pallete then headed back to camp through Badwater.
