May 3, 2014 Arrived here at Alvin Lafon's RV park on May 1st, we rested that night. On Friday we visited Ray Hargrove, Bosco's Uncle, Aunt Joan husband. We washed our dirty laundry at his house and ran back to the trailer to shower and dress for dinner. Ray, Bosco's cousin Linda and the Jameson's; Jim and Sharon and the two of us went out to dinner at El Fenix a Mexican Restaurant and had a wonderful time. Bosco and I said our goodbyes and went to the Senior Center on Arapaho and square danced with the TexasReelers, a square dance club with Jon and Deborah Carroll Jones as club callers. We danced with 126 other enthusiastic dancers and had a great time.

Today we put the laundry away and then cleaned up the trailer for visitors. My longtime friend Kathy Taylor and her husband Chuck arrived that evening and we spent a delightful evening; watching the Kentucky Derby, talking, going out to eat and more talking. I met Kathy and her daughter Cheron in Kansas City, at Greenbrier Town Houses. Some times you find a friend just at the time you need them and Kathy was that friend for me. Fun, and funny, generous, happy and willing; she is a "can do" kind of person. We rode horses, cut down Christmas trees and cared for the kids, horses, dogs and cats. It's impossible that it was that long ago and that those kids are grown ups today. What a happy time!
