Galveston Island State Park continued

May 13, 2014 Woke up this morning to a trailer doing the ole Rock N Roll! Storm blew in overnight and the wind blew the trailer and it really rained. So we stayed in bed as long as possible, until the dog got us up. She wasn't impressed by the weather when I took her out!

We've been watching the birds fish from the slack water; pelicans, herons, terns, egrets, boat tail grackles and others too numerous to mention.  It's a birders paradise! Discovered our sink leaking last night and we're headed out to get parts and pieces. Spent the morning getting our drugs ordered. What a hassle. We are shipping them to a place other than home and they get in a flurry about that. So we had to find an RV spot for 10 days from now and have them hold our mail there until we arrive. Nice lady at New Orleans East Kampground said "Gee, I know all about that I never know where I'll be!" and sure we'll keep them for you. We're leaving in the morning.

These flowers are everywhere in Texas, along the side of every road. Don't know what they are everyone has a different opinion.
