The Bosler's on the Shark Valley Trail

Great Blue Heron
June 11, 2014 Did household chores before leaving to ride the Shark Valley Bicycle Trail. People from everywhere; Stuttgart, Germany; New York, Pennsylvania. Met some people from the Pacific Northwest; Seattle and Portland. The trail follows the tram route; the tram which you can ride for $22, or seniors $19, which gives you a seat and a guide. We elected to ride the 15 miles instead. It's 7 miles out to an observation tower and another 8 miles back. The temperature was about 93* or so, we took plenty of water and left the little dog to guard the trailer in air conditioning. Alligators are so plentiful any and everywhere there is a speck of water. The birds likewise are plentiful and varied and often close enough to give you a ringside view. Our pictures are mostly in our memories but we've included a few to give you an idea.

The ever present Alligators
Well, there we were pedaling along and what did it do??? Rain. Now you think that might just be awful, BUT it was refreshing! Just what we needed. It didn't do much for our looks though. Aw well, nobody knows us here anyway.

You can see the clouds coming in behind us!

Florida Soft Shell Turtle
As we were riding, we kept seeing these turtles crossing the road
we were riding. Pretty strange lookers!
