Columbia, South Carolina

Columbia, SC
Columbia SC
July 15, 2014 We left Charleston, SC 2 days ago and made the trek NW to Columbia, SC. It was a shake down cruise and we were glad we did. First thing that happened we stopped at a rest area for lunch and the slides wouldn't go out; as a matter of fact none of the electrical features worked. Later in camp we found that the battery disconnect had been activated. Oops! Next the water pump had never primed or checked and it took a bit to figure that out. Lastly, the mysterious key we'd been given that didn't fit the side boxes, and that we'd returned to the salesman, opens the door to the outside shower. Who Knew? We were exhausted and took a day off. The pics show our new home; the ones of the back show our sign in the window. The interior is finally livable and homey. Life is good. Now, Holly is not as happy as she could be. The interior has very little carpeting and has two floor vents back by our chairs. For some unknown reason, FLOOR VENTS are a big deal for poodles. I have only had one poodle unaffected by vents; the feeling usually ranges from mild distrust to panic. They, the vents, have now become a BIG DEAL for Holly when combined with our lack of carpeting. She even has some trouble getting brave enough to go up the stairs to bed, but no actual trouble once she makes her mind up to do the deed. Her go to place is under the table, carpeted of course!

Flag holders in place, ready for action!
Finally!!
