| Us, a bowling green, and "The Mansion" |

Today we headed out of town to go to George Washington's Mount Vernon. What a wonderful place. Learned more about Washington and family than I thought I wanted--and was happy to learn! We saw movies, homes, grounds, tombs, and the beautiful Potomac River. We toured the mansion, walked through green houses, toured gardens, watched a blacksmith work at his trade, and had ice cream. The day was complete!
