Fort Osage, and Missouri Town 1855, KC MO

August 13, 14, 2014 One never seems to "sight-see" at home and this was home for so long. So we did some tourist things. The first thing we did was to visit Fort Osage. Bosco can remember visiting there with his family and his Uncle Tuck. Now, that was a few years ago! The fort was not so much a garrison as it was a secured trading station, located right on the Missouri River. It wasn't in use for a long time but served it's purpose to establish trade with the Osage Indians. He still has a way to go, but he is doing most things by himself, and his spirit is back. Just sitting and talking, you would never know he has had a problem. Keep up the progress Wayne! It sure was good to talk about travels and old times.

Then on Aug. 14th we had breakfast with Bosco's cousin, Wayne Allen and the three of us journeyed back in time to Missouri Town 1855. I don't think you could pick a better day.
