Lake Colorado City State Park, TX

4/30/14 Wind blew all day yesterday; it plumb wears you out, and driving is worse. We set up camp here in a mostly empty park, just another couple here from Switzerland.

Mornings are beautiful here, temperature was 49* sun shining, when I got up and Holly said she needed to go outside. Gentle wind, but I told it "I've seen your other side, don't sweet talk me!". I am beginning to see what the terrible dust bowl of the 30's must have been like.
