| How many baby gators can you see? |
We came home to lunch and then went to walk the streets of Breaux Bridge, talked to shopkeepers, looked at treasures and had an ice cone at a sidewalk cafe. A generous shopkeeper just gave us the two tea candles we were trying to buy, wrapped up in a package tied with a ribbon, saying she had had them forever.
We were planning on a meeting later so we went to dinner early at a place called Poche's known to serve Cajun food. Whew, we couldn't eat it all, spicy and delicious; shrimp, catfish, crawfish etouffee, fries and potato salad. We also shared a Boudin sausage; spicy meat with onion and rice.
Went to a great meeting, came home and tried one of the tea candles in the candle lantern that Cherrymae made. It's beautiful but the pictures we tried to take didn't turn out! Then we rolled into bed tired and happy!
