Miss Fashion Statement Herself

June 7, 2014  There are two State Parks with  Manatee in their name; Lake Manatee State Park and the one we've landed in Little Manatee River State Park (site 7). It rained during the night last night, actually sent me to sleep; that and the fact I'm not itching quite so much. Poor Bosco he is their latest victim. I get the feeling that they are considering us a particularly tasty import!
It's finally gotten sunny and HOT, right now 95*. It was a great choice replacing the old air condition with this new unit. This park is like the others full of Live Oaks and their drapes of Spanish Moss but this Park has much more sand than any of the others.
OK, so we've spent a few miserable days with bites of various crawling, flying, creeping critters; lost sleep, itched and moaned. No more I've taken matters in my own hands. See above it's my new jungle garb; guaranteed to repel critters. I don't know if they just laugh themselves silly or get scared wondering what kind of monster I am. Now, I did draw a few stares at Wal-Mart; not as forward thinking as Rodeo (Ro-Day-O) drive in California.
